About Trust
Shri Kamdar Education Trust that is registered trust-having
registration No. E– 5784 / Rajkot on 19th October 2000 is dedicated & created
trust for the benefit of public at large. Trust is committed
to provide “QUALITY EDUCATION” to the society.
With above social responsibilities our effort is to prepare
committed teachers for the society and towards pursuing the task Trust is running 2 (two) N.C.T.E. recognized Teacher’s Training Programs viz.
Elementary Teacher Education Program i.e. P.T.C. Course (2 Years)
is having intake of 50 students (co-education) and affiliated with
State Examination board - Gandhinagar.
Secondary Teacher Education Program i.e. B. Ed. Course
is having intake of 100 students (co-education) and affiliated with
Saurashtra University Rajkot.
Trust is
running one more education institute Delhi Public School - Rajkot
from 2001-2002 affiliated with Central Board of Secondary
Education (CBSE) having standards from pre-nursery to class 12th.
The Founder
Shri Rajendra Vinodrai Kamdar
(B.Sc., L.L.B, D.E.R.E.)
Shri Rajendra Vinodrai Kamdar is a founder of Shri Kamdar
Education Trust, Rajkot. The Kamdar family is a Jain family
engaged in the business of Gold Jeweler since 1963, firm names
are, Kamdar Anikumar Vinodrai Jewelers, Rajkot and Anil Jewelers,
Rajkot. Anil Safe Deposit Vaults Pvt. Ltd. is also the Kamdar
Family’s Pvt. Ltd. Company.
Shri Rajendra Kamdar - Chairman of Shri Kamdar Education Trust,
and pro-vice Chairman of Delhi Public School - Rajkot is the most
active member in their family business.
As regards his education, he took the technical education - D. E.
R. E. ( Diploma in Electronics Radio Engineering), and later on,
he got two universities degrees - one in science (B.Sc.) and the
other in law (L.L.B.). Yet he joined his father's business and
became a successful businessman.
Concerning his spiritual life, he is a strict follower of Jainism
and is also a profound Jain thinker. He spends 45 days in a year
to deliver lectures of Jainism beyond the shores of India - USA,
Kenya, Canada, UK and Dubai to Jain devotees; he observes the
principles of Jainism every where - in India or Abroad. He also takes keen interest in professional and social activities,
holding key positions - Director, in Parshwanath Co-operative Bank
Ltd. Rajkot, Treasurer at Gold Dealer Association, Rajkot and
Secretary at Kundkund Kahan Parivar Mandal, Rajkot.
